Wattsense was founded, and is run, by Prof Simon Gaisford. Prof Gaisford has more than 25 years' experience in the development and application of isothermal microcalorimetry to probiotic supplements. He runs a research group and is currently Professor of Pharmaceutics at University College London (UCL). He has published more than 200 papers, written 4 books and made the Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher list in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Nikki Coshall provides administrative support - Nikki is a qualified accountant and business manager.
Wattsense owns several Thermal Activity Monitors (TAMs, 2277 and TAMIII), housed in state-of-the-art laboratories at UCL.
